The two servants of Mary (I)

One night in the year 1215, St Dominic was watching and praying in St Peter’s Basilica in Rome, and the Lord Jesus appeared in the sky, holding in his hand three spears he was about to hurl at the world. Blessed Mary, his mother, having prostrated herself on her knees, begged him to forgive those whom he had redeemed, and to temper his justice by his mercy.

Her Son said to her, "Do you not see what injuries are done to me? My justice cannot leave so many crimes unpunished. And his mother said to him, “As you know, you who know all things, there is a way to bring them back to you. I have a faithful servant, send him to the world. He will announce your word to men and they will convert and seek you. I have another servant, I will send him as a helper, and he will do the same work.” The Son of God said to his Mother: "You have disarmed me; but show me, I pray you, those whom you have destined for so great a mission.” ...
