A new shrine to "Mary Who Unties Knots"

On February 12, 2018, Bishop Dominique Rey of Fréjus-Toulon blessed the first official shrine dedicated to "Mary Who Unties Knots" in France, at the parish of the Immaculate Conception in the city of Toulon.

For a few years already, many pilgrims have come to bring their own “knots” and sufferings, but also their expressions of thanksgiving. The shrine is open from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week, and anybody can leave a prayer intention to Mary.

On Mondays a high mass to "Mary Who Unties Knots" is celebrated at 6 pm for all those intentions. It attracts many pilgrims from all walks of life. Handmade or inscribed on marble plaques, ex-votos are left at Mary's feet in gratitude for the untied knots.
