Overcoming the Antichrist with Mary

"Together with the Holy Spirit Mary produced the greatest thing that ever was or ever will be: a God-man. She will consequently produce the marvels which will be seen in the latter times. The formation and the education of the great saints who will come at the end of the world are reserved to her, for only this singular and wondrous virgin can produce in union with the Holy Spirit singular and wondrous things," wrote Saint Louis de Montfort (True Devotion § 35).

The end times will coincide with the full revelation of Mary, not in the sense of a greater abstract knowledge, but because she will be known in the display of her merciful action toward sinners, in her fight against the enemies of God and in her support of Christ’s faithful disciples: "In these latter times Mary must shine forth more than ever in mercy, power and grace." (True Devotion § 50, 6) Montfort also stated.

Mary will have an eminent role in the utmost battle against the antichrist which will come in the last days: the race of Mary will crush the head of the ancient Serpent (Gen. 3:15). There is no doubt that the one who cultivates Mary the tree of life in his soul, will overcome the attacks (The Secret of Mary § 77).
