On Saturday, February 18, 2017, the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Westminster was completely filled for the consecration of England and Wales to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The ceremony was presided over by Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster. The latter also crowned the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which was recently installed in London’s Catholic Cathedral.
In his homily, the Archbishop of Westminster invited the faithful to recite the Rosary.
This consecration is a particularly encouraging sign in these troubled and difficult times for both the Church and the world.
